The Maze Runner
By: James Dashner
Thomas wakes up and begins his new life with no memories, acending for what seems like eternity. When he finally reaches the top, the doors open and light floods the box. The gladers welcome him to his new home.
Minho- one of the runners- comes back with great news for Alby. He found a dead griever out in the maze. The next day, Minho and Alby go out to do some investigating. The gladers are worried when they aren't back by the time they should be, especially Thomas. He sees them, but he knows something's wrong. Minho was carrying Alby on his back. They weren't going to make it. As the doors to the maze were closing, Thomas squeezed through. He was shut in for the night, and no one ever survives a night in the maze... Except Thomas, Minho, and Alby
Many gladers are finding Thomas suspicious
because everything seems to be going wrong since he came. To make it worse, they have two Greenies in the same month. Not only that, but the first girl.
This is the best book I have ever read. And I think that James Dashner Is a great writer and I really connected with his charcters. I was always on the edge of my seat, and I found myself staying up at night making predictions of what might happen next, or reading to find out. I couldnt put it down!
I recommend this book to dystopian lovers that love action (lots of it) and cliff hangers.
I can't wait to read the Scorch Trials!
